GraphicsPLUS is a division of Campaign Graphics
Corporation.
Campaign Graphics
Corporation
Campaign Graphics Corporation was founded in 1983 by current
President Glenn Tamblingson. It was a niche marketing idea and an
outgrowth of ABC Signs Inc. which was a company founded by Jesse
Tamblingson in Ocala Florida.
After selling ABC Signs Inc., Campaign Graphics Corporation was
inactive until 1988. Having become a Christian in 1982, Glenn
dedicated the business to the Lord Jesus Christ upon re-activating
it.
Campaign Graphics Corp. was in it's first location on SW 33rd Ave.
for 3 years. During that time, we acquired Images in Wood, a
sandblasting and wood sign company that was later sold in 1992. Also
during that time, we added a "State of the Art" Gerber Graphics
Advantage computerized sign and graphics system for vinyl lettering
and sign design. We added a Harco 6 color shirt press and a Filbar
24" x 30" screen printing press during that time.
In 1992 we moved to our second location, a 4000 sq. ft. facility on
SW 5th Ave. During that time, we added high temperature enamel
baking and finishing to our Real Estate and metal sign product line.
Previously available only from national suppliers, we were the first
in North Central Florida to upgrade to this production method. We
added a 48" x 96" large format screen printing press in 1992 which
was the largest press format in a 100 mile radius.
In 1995 and after 3 years in that 4,000 sq. ft. location, we moved
to our 3rd location, an 8,000 sq. ft. building on S.W. 17th Street.
Where we added a screen printing cylinder press, our first U.V.
production line. We made many additions while in this building. We
added 3,000 sq. ft. of production, bought Digital Graphics' t-shirt
printing facility, adding an M&R Gauntlette 8 color automatic
t-shirt press. We added another U.V. curing line, an additional 60"
gas curing line, M&R Patriot 52" x 120" press, Harco 38" x 52"
press, Daytona 38" x 52" press and an American Cameo 12" x 18"
press. We bought Rhonda's Embroidery and added a Tajima 4 head
embroidery machine. We also added a Gerber Edge thermal vinyl
printer.
Campaign Graphics PLUS
2004. After examination of our direction, it is obvious that for
continued growth, we will need to market more effectively to our
local and regional audience. After much consideration we have
decided that we will need to change our name to better reflect our
business capabilities and direction. This plan must not be
detrimental to our campaign/political market and needs to be done
incrementally locally to not alienate our base. Our end result will
be to become known locally as GraphicsPLUS, but in getting there we
will roll out Campaign Graphics PLUS for a period of approximately 2
years. In 2004 we added a 63" Mimaki JV3 solvent digital printer for
banner and pressure sensitive vinyl printing. To complete this
system, we added 2 60"+ laminators. In 2006 we added a T-Jet digital
t-shirt printing system. We have added a Minolta high resolution and
high output color printer/copier to improve our promotional
materials and to offer color copying to the public. We have added an
Epson 9600 wide format 44" high resolution inkjet printer. The
market is courtroom graphics, P.O.P. materials, posters, trade show
booth graphics and other reproductions. Having outgrown our
building, we decided that 2007 would be our year to move to a larger
facility.
GraphicsPLUS
2007.
Our 4th and newest facility has 14,000 sq. ft. of the highest quality and most
up to date equipment available to the graphics industry. As we have
continued to improve and expand. We have tripled our embroidery
capacity to 12 heads by adding two additional embroidery machines, a
SWF 6 head large format and a SWF "dual" 2 head machine that allows
us to do names and prototype embroidery of 2 different jobs
independently of each other at the same time.
We have added a Mimaki 50" vinyl plotter for large format fleet
graphics and for other applications. We have had 3m training for
vehicle wraps which is the wave of the future in fleet
identification and advertising.
Copy Center and Showroom
We have added a "Copy Center" to bring a broader offering to our
existing and potential client base. The "printing on demand" market
is currently nearly a $1.5 billion a year market in the U.S. and
growing. We are adding desk space for customers to design and print
items on the spot in our "Copy Center". This will allow us to become
a true "Graphics Center" for creativity in Marion County. Our 1000+
sq. ft. showroom has pre-embroidered retail items and samples for
custom embroidery. We have the area's largest selection of
advertising specialty items on display and the ability to search and
research nearly 80,000 suppliers throughout the world.
Video Conference Facility
To further enhance our position as leader and innovator in Marion
County's graphics and business community, we have added our "Video
Conference Center". This state of the art meeting room boasts a 110"
video projection unit in a 450 sq. ft. room that will comfortably
seat 24 people. This room is available for outside groups to rent
for meetings and video conferencing. Although still being outfitted,
when completed it will have encrypted video signaling insuring
secure transmission for courtroom video testimony.
Screen Printing
With the most up to date facility, it seems hard to imagine that we
could do much more to enhance our position as the industry leader in
North Central Florida, but we have. In addition to all of the other
enhancements, when we moved we added nearly 50% more area to our
screen printing production floor. We have added 2) 60" U.V. curing
units and 5) presses for current business and for future growth.
Summary
Looking forward and at the present. We don't like to talk about the
future. Our plans are being worked on each and every day, as we
prepare to continue being the industry leader. We like to surprise
our competition. Currently we have a capacity unparalleled in North
Central Florida. We have a total of 9 graphics presses, 2 textile
presses, 4 digital printers, 2 plotters, 3 embroidery machines,
video conferencing, copy center and a highly trained and motivated
staff to serve you.
Although we are already the leader in quality screen printing and
digital imagery, we have increased our capacity
and our technology in our screen
printing, embroidery, digital graphics and copy center. The result
is better service
and higher quality imagery than ever.
